At Pattberg Maschinenbauteile, the development of custom-engineered components is our core focus. A recent project demonstrates our capability to meet even the most demanding requirements of the shipping industry. Our specially manufactured flange bolt was developed for modern marine engines and made from high-alloy quenched and tempered steel to ensure extremely high load-bearing capacity.
The flange bolt was forged from robust quenched and tempered steel and subsequently heat-treated to a tensile strength of 1300 N/mm². After complete machining by turning and milling, the bolt was ground to a fit of 8 µm. This fine machining is essential to ensure the high reliability and durability required of marine engines in the maritime industry.
