CNC milled parts to your specifications – from drawing to prototype and series production

PATTBERG Maschinenbauteile GmbH manufactures high-precision CNC milled parts exactly to your drawings, CAD data or technical specifications. Whether prototype or series production, we develop cost-effective manufacturing solutions tailored precisely to your requirements.

Our modern machine fleet includes powerful CNC machining centers from renowned manufacturers such as Mazak and Doosan. All milling machines are equipped with automatic pallet changers. While one workpiece is being machined, the finished component is removed from the second table and replaced with the next blank.

Once machining is complete, the table changes automatically, allowing production to continue with virtually no downtime. This reduces non-productive time, increases productivity and ensures cost-effective series production.

Using state-of-the-art 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis technology, we manufacture both simple and highly complex milled parts with tight tolerances and excellent surface quality.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about CNC Milled Parts to Customer Drawing

What information does an inquiry need to include – and which file formats are supported?

For a reliable quote, we need the technical drawing, the desired material, quantity, surface finish or coating, strength class, target delivery date and – if applicable – inspection requirements. Preferred file formats are STEP/STP for 3D geometries, DXF for 2D drawings and PDF for overview and dimensional drawings.

A sample part, a hand sketch or the designation of a standard to be modified are also sufficient as a starting point – we work out the final specification together with your engineering team. Don’t have a drawing or sketch yet? Get in touch anyway – we’re happy to get involved as early as the design phase and support you with material selection, geometry and specification. If any information is missing, we’ll proactively reach out to you upon receipt rather than delaying the quote.

We manufacture CNC milled parts from a quantity of 1 – from prototypes and first samples through to pre-series production. It becomes economically attractive as soon as the one-time cost for CNC programming, fixtures and machine setup is spread across multiple parts; for single-piece production, we therefore rely on a cost-efficient machining strategy rather than series-optimized fixtures.

For ongoing series requirements, we offer tailored supply models such as framework agreements and consignment call-offs.

Our material range spans steel, stainless steel and aluminium through to special alloys and plastics. In steel, we machine structural, free-cutting, quenched and tempered, and tool steels; in aluminium, the full standard range from readily machinable wrought alloys to the high-strength 7075.

In stainless steel, 1.4301 (A2) and 1.4404/1.4571 (A4) are standard – 1.4404 in particular for exposure to chloride or salt water. For demanding operating conditions, we mill duplex, Inconel and Hastelloy, as well as brass, copper and engineering plastics such as POM, PA or PEEK.

Additional special materials to your specification can be supplied on request – including the corresponding material certificates.
